Hungarian avantgarde poet Legéndy Jácint, whose new poembook was published by Kalligram Literary House some months ago, is going to give a special improvisative dance performance at the Berlin Wall in the evening on the 9th of November. The gig, which is mainly based on contemporary dance motifs, will be shown with using a red handled chain leash. It is intended to put questions about freedom and oppression, but at the same time to build a moving monument for the East German citizens, who died at the Wall while they were trying to escape to the other side. Anyway, the performance on the historical border of two political systems is going to pay an homage to the efforts of the '80s West German underground culture as well.
The performance is going to be given on the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Wall. Its title is Remembering the Red Years of Berlin.
Place: Berlin Wall, East Side Gallery, Mühlenstrasse 3-100, 10243 Berlin, Germany
Time: 7th-10th of November, 2019 - spontaneous times between 5 and 8 o'clock in the evening
