Ez év májusában jelent egyébként a harmadik nagylemezük The Bastards (...) címmel. A Kanadából indult, Las Vegas-i székhelyű fashion-art rock trió olyan, mint egy adrenalinlöket, nem véletlenül ragasztotta rájuk a brit sajtó a „The Hottest Band of 2018” címkét. A három testvér (a középső nevükből lett a színpadi nevük, születési nevük: Kropp. ld. keretes) már egészen fiatalon elkezdett zenével foglalkozni, és dalaik – bár meglehetősen eklektikus zenei stílusúak – eredetiek és magával ragadó energiát tolnak az arcunkba.
Szóval, elcsíphetjük őket a környező országokban, ám érdemes igyekezni a jegyvásárlással, mert a pár hete meghirdetett koncertek közül néhány már sold out. Persze, lehet reménykwedni is egy magyarországi megállóban... Aki egy formabontó színpadi show-val körített rockot akar hallani, annak mindenképpen ott a helye.

In May of this year, Palaye Royale have released their third album, The Bastards. The Las Vegas-based fashion-art rock trio is unexpected and very powerful like an adrenaline rush, so the British press labeled them “The Hottest Band of 2018”. The three brothers started playing music at a very young age. Their songs, while quite eclectic in musical style, are original and bring captivating energy.
They would have come to us to perform in March this year (this was announced on the A38 Boat) and then the date moved to August because of the COVID19. By then, virtually all tickets were sold out. Although they are not too well-known, they have a serious fan base around the world, including Hungary. Unfortunately, due to the epidemic situation, they also had to cancel the new date in Budapest as well.
The European tour was recently announced with additional new dates. It will begin at the end of May 2021 in Hamburg. There is no date in Hungary yet (maybe the management is looking for a bigger place because the A38 may be too small - as I mentioned, tickets sold out very quickly), but there will be a concert in most European capitals. We Hungarians are famous for going to the end of the world for a good concert, and the shows of the Palaye Royale are famously brilliant, sometimes with a familiar atmosphere (by the way imagine a "family" party where the singer jumps from the highest place of the venue into the crowd below - and "relatives" are happy to catch him).
So we can catch them in the neighbouring countries, but you have to hurry with the ticket-buying because some of the gigs have already sold out. If you want to hear and see a genius stage show with a tasty rock music, this is the place.
